Job Summary

A Project Superintendent manages all scopes of the job from commencement to completion. The Project Superintendent reports to the General Superintendent.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the site project, including safety, quality, scheduling, logistics, and budgeting. 
  • Assess job priorities and assign employees to appropriate job tasks 
  • Monitor work performance and productivity
  • Ensure that all work is accomplished by the highest quality standards 
  • Collaborate with GC, engineers, and subcontractors to define project needs  
  • Keep track of project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure success  
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards  
  • Have at least five years of experience in site development  
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and provide corrective recommendations to the PM/General Superintendent 
  • Schedule and coordinate material, tools, equipment, safety, subcontractors, and field operations  
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
