Strack Inc. is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in our Fairburn office. This person will report to the Accounts Payable Manager on all critical business accounts. This vital role supports the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments and maintaining strong financial records.    

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles and some experience in construction.

Responsibilities: 

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
  • Manage accounts payable transactions, including vendor payments, checks, and wire transfers.
  • Maintain vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any issues.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
  • Assist senior financial officers as needed.

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
  • Experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High school diploma or Equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
